It's a GIRL!!!!!!

Yesterday I went to have an ultrasound, actually 2. One with my OB and one with the perinates. I was sick in my stomach with nerves, on the drive over waiting to have the ultrasound. I feel like it took forever for this day to come. I was mentally prepared to hear the sonographer say boy. We walked to the room and I laid down on the table. The US tech asked if I wanted to find out the sex. I told her that it was a boy, but she could just confirm it for me. As she scanned my belly the first thing she did was determine the sex. She scanned the parts and looked over at me with a smile. She asked me if I knew the sex. I thought that I saw male parts but she said it was a GIRL! What I though were scrotum and penis was the labia and cord. I immediately started bawling. I cried so much that she started to cry. It was the most surreal moment. I was still hesitant until 2 others confirmed it at the perinates appointment. Thank God for this baby. I continue to pray for her to be heathly. I am sad to think that mom won't be able to meet her yet, I feel that she helped choose her for me!



I can't wait to meet her. Only 23 more weeks to go!!!
