In Recovery
Jake had his tonsils out today. He did great and had no complications. The surgery was about 15min. The longest part was waiting to go back to see him in recovery! He did great at home, in fact he wanted to chill on the couch and watch the movie "Cars." Then he would get a burst of energy and play Wii! He never slept after his surgery until his bedtime. When I was 5 and had My tonsils out I slept all day! Not Jake, he has toooo much energy! He drank sprite, but didn't want popcicles or the slushes I bought at Sonic. He would have rather eaten a PBJ sandwhich, but the Dr. Ordered clears until tomorrow. He was so grumpy and moody, that by dinner I finally caved and gave him cornbread. His mood changed drastically and was such a pleasant boy again. The Dr. also ordered for him to not run around or be very active for two weeks. Don't know how I will be able to follow thoughs orders.
