Snack

David wanted to have a "picnic" in the living room. So I set out a blanket for him to sit on. Of course Jake wanted to join in on the fun. I was getting a little nervous that Jake would eat and wonder, staining the carpet but he was really good. I had him sit on the blanket and sat and ate with David. Had to capture the moment. Don't know when this will happen again.

Now I don't want to jinx anything but David pooped in the potty 4-5 times now. Cries when does but is getting less reluctant to go. So proud of him. Hope he continues this trend! On a little side note and not that you all care, but how does such a little guy have so much come out! I mean it's massive!!! No wonder he cries! Poor baby!

30 weeks!

30 weeks! Just wanted to post a pic or two to show how big I'm getting. It's amazing how black can really hide. In my bare skin pics my stomach looks so much bigger! I had 3D pics done and Patrick was hiding behind cord and feet! So, we are going back next week to try again. Little stinker wants to hide for the camera! If I get better pics I will post them next week! He is weighing in at 3lbs 5oz so far and I have 10 weeks left!

Justin and I had the entire weekend off together, which is the first in I don't know how long! So we landscaped our backyard. As much as I needed to work, it was nice to get this project done!

Fishin'

Justin and I took the kids to Deanna Rose and we stopped to go fishing. We took a pole and instead of paying for a bucket of worms, we decided to use the bread we packed for lunch. As soon as the hook hit the water the fish were bitting. We caught about a dozen fish, using just bread! Of course Justin had to remove the fish from the hook. Momma doesn't touch fish! We had a great time and it was a beautiful day!

Eating time

When Jakie is hungry he just takes food out of the fridge. Today he took out the strawberries and sat in the middle of the kitchen and starting eating. For dinner he was interested in the corn we were eating and so I let him try it. I showed him how to hold and eat the corn and he went to town!

The Sweetest thing!

So we were in the car and drove by a fire station and David said, "Mom look a fire house! I want to live in a fire house when I grow up. Then I can drive a fire truck and help somebody!" I Thought it was the sweetest thing and so thoughtful!

Glucose Test!

Well I got my results and they were normal! Totally thought that I would have flunked and have to do the 3 hour, hang out in the waiting room test. But I'm cleared. Look out ice cream and brownies, here I come!!!

Had my 28 week check-up today with my glucose test. I didn't gain weight this month, yippee! I was getting nervous b/c last month I had gained 10lbs! That's a lot to gain in a month! My belly is getting so huge that I don't think I have anymore room to stretch! I am measuring 30cm which make me believe this kiddo will be HUGE!! Probably a nine pounder! My Dr. said that we will monitor in two weeks to see how I am measuring. I won't be sad if she wants to induce at 38weeks! It's going to be a long summer! Keep you all updated on how my glucose test turns out.

A day at the lake!

I can't find my camera to post what the family has done the last couple of weeks so I'm really bummed!
Took David fishing today with my niece Kyn and sister-in-law. Of course I'm kind of a girly girl and don't touch worms or fish. So my sis-in-law had to bait my hooks for me! Her and her crew caught a total of 12 fish. David and I, not so much! Had a few nibbles, but not one to catch! We had a great time. When David was in the bath tonight I noticed a dark spot on his back. It looked like a mole but with further investigation I discovered a tiny tick. I whipped out the alcohol and tried to smoother the tick out of my son's skin but the sucker wouldn't budge. So thinking it might be dead, cuz what can breath when covered in alcohol, I tried pulling it out with tweezers! Still didn't pullout. So I called my dad and suggested I cover it with finger nail polish to kill it. Sure enough the tick was still alive and now stuck to my son. It quickly died! After a few minutes or so I removed the polish and tried to remove the tick. Just for future reference ticks heads won't come out when it's dead. So now the head of a dead tick is in my son's skin! Now he's probably going to get an infection or Lyme's disease!!! Why couldn't my husband been home to take care of this!
