decorating the xmas tree

I the day after thanksgiving we put up our christmas tree. The cat thought she needed to be a part of the trees decoration. Who needs a star when you have a cat! After we hung the ornaments, I gave the kids a new ornament as a gift. This was a tradition my mom did with me when I was little. I hope to continue this tradition every year! Next we put up Jake's and David's tree in their room. And of course Patrick had to have a tree in his room!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very uneventful Thankgiving this year. Justin worked at the Hospital the night before and I work tonight so we stayed home. In the morning the boys and I watched the parade, then we chilled the rest of the day. For dinner I made low sodium stuffing and greenbean casserole to accomodate our diet! The main course was chicken with Mrs. Dash seasoning, and was pretty tasty! Though it wasn't the traditional Thanksgiving meal, it wasn't too bad! Stress free day!

Happy Halloween

We went trick r treating around our neighborhood. D was Mario, J Luigi and P buzz light year. We only did 2 col-de-sacs and there buckets were full. Baby P was having a hard time keeping up with the big kids. I think his bucket was weighing him down! I was a great night. And we didn't run all over the place. SO relaxing!!!!! So glad the weather cooperated, at 68 degrees, who could ask for a better night!
