Fall Festival

We took the boys and my niece Kynleah to the Fall Festival where David has his Awana classes. It rained really hard most of the day so I think it deterred people from coming. The kids had a great time. They had a bounce house, bobbing for pumpkins game, fishing game and many more. So after we arrived the the rain stop and we were able to enjoy a hayrack ride.

Carving Pumpkins!

The boys had a lot of fun carving pumpkins. Well, Jake had fun eating the pumpkins! Justin carved out David's Jack-o-Lantern and I carved Jake's! David had specific instructions on how he wanted his face on the pumpkin. Can you guess which one is David's? I will give you a hint! It's the one without teeth!

It is Fall!

Here are some pics I took while outside enjoying the weather! I just the colors of the trees this time of year! Just wish this weather would last until spring.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the boys to two pumpkin patches. Yesterday we went to David's school's patch and pick 5 pumpkins of Davids liking. They had a Bounce house the boys really enjoyed and Jake never wanted to leave!







Today we went to the Louisburg cider mill. We only picked 1 pumpkin today! We saw how they make there Delicious apple cider and donuts! They have a corn maze and hay rack rides, but we chose to stick with picking pumpkins since money is a little tight and the boys aren't old enough yet to realize what they are missing. We had a great couple of days in this great weather!

Today was the Memory Alzheimer's walk. I loaded up the boys to walk a mile to honor my mom, raising $205! It was pretty chilly, especially with the wind blowing. David wanted to bring his pumpkin with him on the walk. Of course we barely started and he's ready for me to hold it! After our mile walk it was time for free food and fun. They provided sandwiches, chips, bananas and cookies! They had a kids corner where David played a bean bag game and David and Jake got their faces painted. We really had a great time and luckily the boys were great. Patrick just slept the entire time! Can't wait until next year!
