Happy 4th Birthday Jakie!

Happy birthday to my 4 year old Jakie! We celebrated with dinner at our home with Papa and grandma followed by cake pops and presents. This was the first time I made cake pops. Though they were very tasty, they were quite a challenge to make. Glad I tried them out at the home party instead of for a whole crowd! The boys really enjoyed them, that's all that matters.

My Jake has really blossomed into a caring, loving little boy! He loves watching and playing Thomas the train. Riding his bike and digging in the dirt. He is talking so well and learning to share. He counts to 25, knows all shapes and colors and loves looking up to his big brother. So glad God blessed us with you!

Not pregnant!

Well my AF came on saturday so that means no baby for me. I can't believe how upset I feel over not being pregnant. I have never had to try before and I wanted this so bad, that it really hurts. I am taking a break and going to enjoy the holiday. I need a little bit of a stress free holiday. This ttc a girl was very stressful, even though I only tried 1 month. Maybe in a few months we will try again.

David's Holiday Party

David had his holiday party this afternoon. I was in charge of bringing sweets. I Made oreo cookie cake snowman balls and hersery kisses/hugs pretzel melts. His party had a lot of fun activities for the kids to enjoy. They had a center for making a winter page or card, winter Bingo, a station to make an ornament with a pine cone, glitter and glue, and a sensor table that included different items to smell, touch, see and hear! Then it was time to eat there snacks and exchange gifts. Everyone surround the teacher to be the next in line to give her their gift. It was a great day to end with for the start of winter break!

Xmas treats!

Here are some of the Christmas treats that I made for the Boys' teachers and for David's holiday party! I didn't get a picture of all that I made, cuz I had already wrapped most of the treats when I remember to take pics, but you get the idea!

Tonsilectomy!

Before Surgery

In Recovery

Jake had his tonsils out today. He did great and had no complications. The surgery was about 15min. The longest part was waiting to go back to see him in recovery! He did great at home, in fact he wanted to chill on the couch and watch the movie "Cars." Then he would get a burst of energy and play Wii! He never slept after his surgery until his bedtime. When I was 5 and had My tonsils out I slept all day! Not Jake, he has toooo much energy! He drank sprite, but didn't want popcicles or the slushes I bought at Sonic. He would have rather eaten a PBJ sandwhich, but the Dr. Ordered clears until tomorrow. He was so grumpy and moody, that by dinner I finally caved and gave him cornbread. His mood changed drastically and was such a pleasant boy again. The Dr. also ordered for him to not run around or be very active for two weeks. Don't know how I will be able to follow thoughs orders.

Mom

So am sitting in my car today with my 2 youngest boys, trying to think of something to do. And all that I think of is how great it would be to go to mom's house to hang out until my 6 yr old get out of school. Then I realize that I will never be able to do this again. I think of how much she missed in our lives. She never got to be a part of 2 youngest lives. They will never know her. They will never know what a great grandma they had or how she would've spoil them! There will never sleepovers a grandmas house. She will never be at there sports events or see there major achievements in life! It is so hard to realize that this is forever! She is gone forever! I just want to hear her voice once more, give her a hug, hold her hand or just say I love you once more!

My crazy girl diet.

So 7 weeks ago I started a diet to help sway my chances of having a baby girl. I love my boys and would not trade them for the world, but I feel that my family would be more complete if I had a baby girl!

So I started this diet, which included low sodium and low potassium and high calcium and magnesium. Pretty much my diet was pretty bland. I did loss 10lbs though:)
Foods that I could eat included low salt cheese, cottage cheese, low salt bread, pasta with cream sauce, low salt butter, chicken(so tired of chicken), broccoli, cucumbers, green beans, corn greek yogurt, 3 glasses of milk a day and lots and lots of cranberries! I also took 1200mg of Ca+, 250mg of mag+, folic acid and canberry supplements daily. Not to mention 2-3 glasses of peppermint tea, and a lot of crystal light!
The purpose of the diet is lower the ph in my body, to make my body more acidic. Girl sperm (TMI) like a more acidic environment and the boy sperm don't thrive in this environment!
I know that God is the one that decides my fate, but it make me feel a little in control! I pray that God will bless me with a healthy baby girl, in hopes that I can have a relationship like my mom and I had. 2weeks until I check if I'm preggo!

All I want for Christmas!

We took the boys to see santa to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. I even got a chance to sit on Santa's lap. Can you guess what I asked for?
