We had David's birthday party yesterday afternoon! We had his friends and fam over for an outdoor fun in sun! We had a kids pool and slip-n-slide to keep the kids cool! Us poor adults we sweltering in the heat! David refused to put a suit on and changed his clothes 3 times b/c they were getting wet. Finally when my BFF came with her boys he was all about the water and happily got his suit on. "The Boys", as David calls them, brings the best out of him!



Afterwards we enjoyed gifts, a Wall-e cake and ice cream! David was so glad that everyone came to celebrate his birthday that he asked if they all could come back tomorrow and play!

Happy Birthday David!

My baby boy turns 4 today! I can't believe how fast time has gone! It seems like yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. Why do they have to grow up so quickly? Can't they stay little for ever. David always tells me that he does want to grow up and tell him I don't want him to either. David has really developed so much in a year, it's so amazing! Here are so of David's infamous words. Back-uum (vacuum), Ba uoon (balloon), Ba genta (magenta),BaDonalds (mcDonalds),Ding bell (door bell), Muckabees (starbucks), paper-towel-you-all (paper towels), "what chew got!", "you got chew dad?", "I gaw it" (I got it), Steve shirt and Steve Shoes.

Tonight before Justin went to work we took David out to eat for his birthday at Red Robin. They had a a lady going around to each table making balloon animals. David wanted a green dinosaur! She is pretty talented! After dinner the staff sang to David. He hide under the table. Notice the yellow balloon without a little boy attached to it.


When we got home we sang Happy Birthday and gave David is own special cake. He did share with Jake. What a nice big brother!



David I'm so glad that god choose you to be my son. Everyday you make me laugh. You are such a caring, loving boy. I am so blessed to have you in my life. I love you baby! Happy 4th Birthday!

Coloring!

So, I decided to see if Jake was ready to start coloring. He got this marker set for his 1st b-day so I thought I would try it out. In order for it to work properly you have to hold the markers just right! Well Jake never really held it at the right angle even with placing it just so. As you can tell it was more fun to eat than to draw! All of the markings on the paper were from me showing him how it works! Maybe next time!

Baby Taylor

My sister had her baby today! After 2 days of induction, Baby Taylor was born, weighing in a 8lbs 2oz, 20 inches long! Congrats to Diane and Jesse, she is beautiful!

First Day of Preschool!

Today was David first day of preschool. It's a preschool camp that he is taking one day a week. Class starts at 9am so for him waking him up a 8:15 was hard for him. My kid sleeps in until 10ish! Last night he was so restless that he didn't fall asleep until nearly midnight so that didn't help! Notice the crying going on before school. I wasn't sure how it would go just dropping him off and letting him be. He has really never been anywhere that I just drop him off unless he is spending that night at families homes or Bff Rachel's. So I anticipated that he would want me to stay with him all day. I even took off work the night before just in cause. As soon as we got there his teacher showed him is cubby and told him to hug me goodbye. And that was it is. No fussing just a few kisses and hugs and he was on his way to play with the other kids. I just stood there, a little in shock! Thinking now what! I drove home and got a little teary thinking my baby boy is growing up!

Gymnastics

Yesterday David started is first class at gymnastics. It took a while to convince him to want to go but once he was there and saw the kids he was hooked. He has class one day a week for an hour. Justin Video taped his class so I don't have any pictures to show you. After class he told Justin that gymnastics was the awesomist ever! He can't wait until next week!

Smores

After Jake went to bed, I fired up the Chimnea. David, Justin and I sat outside and made smores! The wind was pretty strong but we managed to keep the fire going. This was the first time David has been around a fire. He really enjoyed roasting the marshmallows. It started to rain so we did stay outside very long, but it was a fun 20minutes hang with my boys!

Here are the 3D photos that I promised I would post. The second session went a lot better though he still had is hands and feet in his face majority of the time but at least we got picture of him! David went with me and was such a good little boy! David is going through a phase that he doesn't want to leave my side. Luckily he does want he is told most of the time and is a joy to be around. We started out the day getting a pedicure with my sister who is also preggers and due in 2 weeks! Than stopped to get lunch and off to the Dr. office for picture and OB appointment. We were gone for 4 hours! That's a long time to be patient, but he did awesome! Hope he stays this good and sweet. Maybe he will never leave my side. I could live wiht that.
